The First 30 Days
2K polyurethane is handling-hard within a day and fully cured in about 30 days. During that window:
- Wipe spills with a soft damp cloth, no cleaners
- Avoid taping anything to the faces or lining shelves with adhesive liners
- Leave felt bumpers in place and close doors gently
- Skip heavy scrubbing, magic erasers, and anything abrasive
Everyday Cleaning
Warm water and a drop of dish soap on a microfiber cloth handles almost everything, including grease above the range. Dry with a second soft cloth. That is genuinely the whole routine.
What to Keep Away
Ammonia, bleach, degreasers, oven cleaner, acetone, and abrasive pads can dull any cured finish. So can "polish" and oil-based wipes — they leave a film that attracts dust and streaks.
